About The Role
Häfele Australia’s in-house production & design facility (known as Service+) is located in Pakenham, where we produce all Häfele showrooms, exhibitions and displays nationally.   This facility also supports our customers with a range of value-added services and allows us to “do the work for them”.  From the transfer of knowledge, accompanying them via planning and production through, to installation and maintenance services.  In addition we offer a vast range of services such as in-house packaging, cut to size and pre-assembled products along with many other customised solutions and maintenance agreements. 

The successful candidate will assist in the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of commercial cabinetry, kitchens and custom trade show stands. Key responsibilities include:

The role’s duties include:

• Build, manufacture and installation of custom displays, joinery and samples based on plans and design provided
• Assistance and collaboration on development of new displays being introduced and manufactured by our Service+ team
• Daily delivery drives between our various sites
• Attend product service or warranty calls on site when required

 About You

• Qualified Cabinetmaker or Joiner
• Confident in using power and other production tools & machinery including CNC, Edge bander and panel saw
• Must hold a current forklift and MR heavy vehicle licence
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude & passionate about safety
• Team player with a strong work ethic, results focussed, self-motivated, can work unsupervised, is a problem solver and approaches challenges in an innovative and collaborative manner
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and functions well under pressure with strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to adapt to changes throughout projects of a custom nature
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Time management skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines
• Process driven with a high level of attention to detail
