The Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Administrator to join our People, Learning & Culture team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. Based in our Dandenong South office and reporting to the Head of People, Learning & Culture, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end payroll processing (fortnightly and monthly) using Employment Hero
  • Manage time & attendance, new starters, terminations, and superannuation
  • Reconcile payroll transactions and liaise with Finance
  • Prepare leave accruals and generate reports for management
  • Maintain accurate employee records
  • Respond to employee queries regarding pay, leave, and entitlements
  • Monitor and implement changes to payroll in line with award rates and compliance requirements
  • Support general HR administration and ad hoc tasks as needed

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years experience in end-to-end payroll processing
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and strong numerical skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and positive attitude
  • Experience with Employment Hero is highly desirable
