About The Role
As the Head of Sales for Lighting products, you will drive the profitable sales growth of Häfele Australia's Lighting business division. Reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer, you will lead the national sales team, develop strategic business plans, and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Who You Are To Us
- You have a strong background and understanding of lighting technology.
- Comprehensive knowledge of distribution networks within the Australian Lighting industry.
- You have established relationships with lighting wholesalers, contractors, designers, engineers, and technicians.
- CRM (Salesforce) management and engagement.
Your Core Competencies
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organisational and personal sales skills.
- Able to communicate with, engage, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
- Able to work under pressure, autonomously, achieving consistent results.
- Engaging presentation skills in person and online.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the profitable sales growth of Häfele Australia’s Lighting business division in alignment with the company business plan.
- Review potential product and market opportunities in line with company objectives and prepare sales forecasts and feasibility studies.
- Develop and maintain contact with new and existing major customers (Key Decision Makers and Managers) and foster relationships with potential key customers that align with the company’s business vision.
- Direct the ongoing review of pricing, distribution, and other policies related to the Lighting business division.
- Oversee national Lighting sales budgets, KPIs, and accounts.
- Develop a paid services portfolio in relation to Lighting.
- Employ, direct, motivate, coach, and mentor the national sales team across all state and regional sales offices to ensure the achievement of individual sales plans.
- Review and recommend improvements to the sales team functions as needed.
- Prepare and implement strategic business plans and sales strategies.
- Assist in the development of dedicated marketing and Ecommerce strategies.
- Plan and facilitate sales conferences in collaboration with other business division Heads of Sales.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of supplier relationships.
- Participate in and coordinate exhibitions alongside the Chief Business Officer.
